The Redgate Rovers J.F.C. Code of Conduct as described
below applies to all players, parents, spectators and
officials of this club.
The code recognises that a standard of sportsmanship
must be maintained at all times, both on and off the
pitch. It also acknowledges that Redgate Rovers has
a responsibility to ensure that every child or young
person who is a member of this club should be able to
participate in an enjoyable and safe environment protected
from physical, emotional and sexual harm.
This Code of Conduct complies with the practises and
procedures laid down in the Football Associations "Child
Protection Policy". If any individual is found to be
in breach of these codes then the Redgate Rovers Management
Committee has the authority to require that the person
is to withdraw from the club.
The following statements reflect the minimum standards
expected.
- Redgate Rovers J.F.C. will adopt a positive approach
to ensure that every member is protected from paedophile
activities.
- Team Officials are expected to comply with League
rules at all times. They are to behave in a professional
manner, establishing and maintaining the highest standards
when
- Redgate Rovers will ensure that all coaches will
receive the necessary assistance in order to comply
with the Football Association criteria in relation
to the development of junior football with regard
to the standard of coaching and 1st.
- Referees are to be respected and their decisions
are final. It must be remembered that in the absence
of a qualified FA official any person undertaking
the duties of a referee must be regarded as having
the same authority of an
- Sporting behaviour must be maintained at all times,
players should be encouraged to shake hands at the
completion of the game. Parents and spectators should
appreciate good play from the opposition as well as
encouraging their own team.
- Foul and Abusive language by players, parents, spectators
or club officials will not be tolerated.
- Club members, parents and spectators must respect
the facilities being used whether it be in a competitive
match, a training ses
- If any person associated to Redgate Rovers J.F.C.
is believed to be indulging in any activity, which
would be to the detriment of this club, then the management
committee has the authority to require that the person
end that association.
