I've watched Redgate on numetous occasions and have been mightley impressed by the goal scoring prowess of a certain Ian Hall and a quite similar looking caveman. Unfortunately they both tend to score in the wrong goal but his technique is superb. As such, I am disappointed to find that there is no Ian Hall/Caveman soccer skills section to help me improve my skills. Please can you fix this for me?

The "Caveman soccer skills" section is underway- I just have to get that book off Chris - the one with his only trick in it!

Surely Captain Caveman was faster than Hall as he had less hair, and was thus more aero-dynamic??

Wildly excited by Saturdays game. I have a feeling that it will be a trip down memory lane. Lets beat the top of the league. I am confident as Mark is in such fine goal scoring form - after all he has recently eneded his Heskey-esque drought, where the empty net week after week only rivalled the North sea fishermen. Speaking of Fishermen!! Till we meet again.

Is there a definition of Spit-R.O.A.S.T?

I preferred the forum!!

The forum is still there but this is less hassle! Or is it becuase your fan club is on there?

I am just writing to voice my disgust at some of the false names that people are posting. I have watched Redgate on many occasions and if any team is going to work it has to be based on honesty and trust.

bring on message board! tis a fun time for all the family, games and things to do. what more could we ask for? well done to the mighty redgate for a rather excellent draw today, we so should have fun, excellent stops from the Mac(h 3 razor) in goal. let's bring the championship home

lookin at the sat game there was only one disappointin aspect for me(i was one of the excitedsupporters of the famous redgate) that aspect was that in centre midfield there seemed to be only one player trying, he gave the beat to the mid the other one should have stayed in his chambre! oh and another thing who won the longest drive on sat night?? hom hom

Posted: 1/26/2003 11:03:16 PM, by: ron manager

very cheeky! as it was ian's 40th i thought... lets give the boy some glory in front of an adoring crowd. as middle age approaches and the joints stiffen up he won't have many more opportunities! i'm just that kind of guy. (i believe the world record of 275 yards remains in tact!!!)

Posted: 1/27/2003 9:58:57 AM, by: Mark

bonjour moi petite redgate chumeroonies. i hold the record for shortest drive, all 14feet of it... oh, memories. i demand my profile to be altered on grounds of bad taste, i never enjoy a game, i am always pissed off, and i hate everyone.... mmmmm, free chips, sausages, chicken dippers, i love you all. whats all this h3 razor all about, i dont get it, whats a razor? best shout of the season so far: ur nominatiosn please. i put forward woodsy juniors "do it for daaaave" against waterloo, and bollox's shout of "cheats....cheats...cheats *fingers tapping head*" against rockville and their paedo manager.

Posted: 1/31/2003 1:03:14 AM, by: le bigzoi

Subject: Paul Chambers Where is he? Say no more! This is a signature Redgate will definetly pursuing at the end of the season, so watch out Tangers! If we secure this signature I am willing to make a rather large bet that redgate could win promotion to the Zingari 1st Division. There will then also be a clear difference in class between Redgate and their arch rivals Formby JSCOB

You're not getting my man! He belongs to me and you can never have him. He is mine. The adoption papers are going through at the moment. From then on he shall revert back to being ginger like Keith and shall be known as Paul Tangeman.

does anyone know that rule in 5a side where a keeper kicks the ball over head height but not a save is therefore a penalty? was just wondering....

Posted: 2/6/2003 7:31:33 PM, by: just wondering

well, since i actually played competitive footie from 5yrs old, in 5,7 and 11-a-side games, i think i would know the rules. beign merseyside 5-a-side champions does help. any action other than a direct save that results in a ball goign over head height is a penalty, as it is the closest point to which a free-kick can be awarded, since no1, bar the keeper, can venture into the penalty area. of course, said person who caused this infringement didnt know the offside rule till late last year ("when the ball reaches the player isnt it?" ahem), so, we forgive his neanderthal type brain power.

Posted: 2/6/2003 8:12:34 PM, by: le bigzoi

oh mr M pleeeeeease forgive ma stoopidity, to question a footballing god. i wish you were a champion of 11 a side not only 5 a sde. a win for redgate next week i feel. goodnight

Posted: 2/12/2003 11:40:47 PM, by: redgate allstars

not footballing god, i just know t'rules, and as everyone knows, i follow them intently, and never cheat at all, ever, honest. a win for t'rovers this satdy, then off to las uvas where we can get garlic bread, it's the future.

Posted: 2/13/2003 11:50:20 PM, by: le bigzoi

why do a certain bunch of cheating dirty scum bags ever get in to the zingai league at all? everyone knows who i mean right... i guess after next week we wont have to play the top2sides again this season

Posted: 2/15/2003 9:56:52 PM, by: honesty is not the best policy

the last few weeks there has been a huge turn around in the attitude of our team, we are fighting for everything, not letting our heads drop. coming back from 1-0 down against essemay, i was proud of our team. a matter of a few weeks ago, we would have given up and lost by 3 or 4. use this as a springboard for next season.

Posted: 3/30/2003 3:15:24 PM, by: mackie

Hit the nail on the head there Mac - we have been brilliant in regard to the attitude the last couple of games!

Hi guys, are we gonna be having a friendly before the goals go down? Could be fun, and I'm sure that the Chambers/Halls would be willing to gamble away their anual salary on the result!

nope, nope, and um, nope. i for one wouldnt wish to play, and i doubt most people would... remember the two debacles that we had a few weeks ago when no could be arsed... leave it till preseason (which will be july, since the zingari kicks off around the 14th or so of august) when there will actually be a point to it.
